He served four years in the United States Army as an infantryman, with assignments at Fort Benning and Fort Carson. During his service, he earned Air Assault certification, received the Army Good Conduct Medal, and served as a Squad Leader, where he was recognized for strong leadership, accountability, and consistently high physical performance. He was honorably discharged with an impeccable disciplinary record.

While stationed at Fort Carson, Travis also supported military police operations, assisting with access control, identification verification, and vehicle inspections—further strengthening his expertise in security procedures and situational awareness.

Following his military service, Travis built his career in the private security sector, holding supervisory roles with multiple companies. He has led teams, ensured compliance, and maintained high operational standards across a variety of sites. Notably, he served as Site Supervisor for Denver’s 16th Street Mall, managing security operations in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
